Product Description: Avalon III plaids and pillows are a graphic checkerboard reinterpretation of the original “Avalon” pattern, created in 1988. Woven on a jacquard loom in Scotland, the design appears in negative on the reverse side. The name Avalon echoes the British island where, according to Arthurian literature, the famous sword Excalibur was forged.
